FDA Is Still Thinking About It

I’m happy to be able to share that a few months ago I began the process of petitioning FDA to take action to confirm whether or not my finding of 0.816 PPM DDT in one sample of Swisher Sweets little cigars was representative of all Swisher brands and sub-brands. In my petition I asked that, if my findings were confirmed to be representative, the Secretary of HHS use existing authority to declare a Public Health Emergency and seize all stocks of this hazardous product that severely risks the health of Cannabis and Tobacco smokers and their future children.

Here’s the interim response, which isn’t a rejection, which means that so far my evidence-based Citizen’s Petition appears to be standing its ground. (And then here’s a link to the full text of the CP)

      1. Right, thank you. So, how much DDT will Amrican consumers consume while FDA mulls this over? Probably they will mull it indefinitely. You are prying open a can of hidden agendas, backroom deals and profitablity that supercedes health concerns. Bless you and watch your back door.
